A Color Combination Worth Trying

Last week I made this card (see my blog post about this card here)...

...and it got me thinking. This is a color combination worth trying again! Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, and Misty Moonlight are so pretty together!

I asked my team members to see what they could do with this color combination, too, and some of them got the chance to give it a try. I wanted to share their creations with you to give you a few more ideas on how to incorporate these colors into your projects. I love how each of them not only incorporated the colors but Designer Series Paper with those colors in them, just like I did. Designer Series Paper for the win!

Two of my team members used the same Designer Series Paper (DSP) I did - Bright & Beautiful - for their cards. I love that Tina Reis pieced the DSP, then ran the whole front through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the dots folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. So cute, and a perfect birthday card!

The embossing folder she used is part of Stampin' Up!®'s Online Exclusive product line and comes in a pack with two other folders. Click on the photo to check it out in my online store.

The next card using this beautiful color combination comes from Tracy Filter. She used circles to create a fabulous card with a unique layout. Isn't it perfectly simple? I love the sentiment stamp set she used, too! Phrases for All is big and bold and is perfect for masculine, feminine, or even kid cards. The smaller messages in the stamp set make it perfect and a must have.

Mary Lamphere went a little bit different direction with her card, but WOW! I just love that the Masterfully Made DSP can be used with this color combination, too. It's stunningly pretty, and bringing out the Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, and Misty Moonlight colors from the paper was genius. Although Bubble Bath and Misty Moonlight are not actually colors listed for the DSP, they fit perfectly, and you'd never know if I hadn't told you, would you? I love that Mary also used the Circle Sayings Bundle in her card. The flowers in the stamp she chose really goes nicely with the DSP...and don't forget to notice the teeny tiny fussy cutting she did on the flowers. Sheesh, those are delicate...and such a pretty addition!

Thanks to my team members for sharing their creations using this gorgeous color combo! We do regular creative challenges like this, and we love to share with each other. I love how encouraging my team members are to each other, too. We've created a little family...people who enjoy time together, whether it be virtual or in person, and people who have found connections and special bonds through stamping. For more information on how to become a member of my special team, contact me or start the process of purchasing the Starter Kit here.

Happy stamping!

Amy
