A Pretty Meadow Card

Writer: Amy RichAmy Rich

Hi! Just a quick check-in today to share my card from today's What's Up! Stampers.

Do you forget about the Online Exclusive products in Stampin' Up®'s online store? I get it, actually. There are so many amazing products in our catalogs that it's easy to forget the other amazing products that are available. My suggestion is to bookmark this link and use it to get to the Online Exclusive products in my online store so that you won't forget to check what's there. There are some goodies.

As a reminder, we add items to the Online Exclusives in March, July, and November, and occasionally in between. In November there were some beauties added, including the incredibly gorgeous Meandering Meadows Suite Collection.

When I created my card for What's Up!, I used for inspiration an old Christmas card I had made years ago. The layout was great, and I thought it would be perfect for use with the Meandering Meadows Suite.

The card is relatively straight forward (no fun folds or other craziness), so perhaps all you need are paper measurements and a couple of tips.

Fresh Freesia cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 11", scored in half at 5 1/2"

-4" x 5 1/4", embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder

Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper:

-3" x 4"

Orchid Oasis cardstock:

-3 1/8" x 4 1/8"

Basic White cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 3/4"

-scraps for boots and watering can

For the boots and watering can, I stamped them in Basic Gray ink on Basic White cardstock. I put some Basic Gray and Orchid Oasis ink from the ink pads on a clear block, then used those color palettes and a Blender Pen to add the color. Water coloring them that way gives them a lovely, soft look. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. Simply beautiful.

You can watch me make the card here, and you can see all the supplies - along with links to my online store - below.

Happy stamping!

Amy
