A Scrappy Ornament

What's Up! Stampers? has proven in the last couple of years to be a great outlet for me in creative stamping. Each Wednesday at 1pm Central I go live on my Facebook page to share some stamping news and a project, all within less than 30 minutes.

This past week I created an ornament card using the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper.

Making the ornament was simple.

  1. Cover a 3" square piece of cardstock with adhesive.

  2. Cover the square with 1/2" strips of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper or papers of your choice.

  3. Cut a circle out of the square using the Layering Circles Dies

  4. Adhere a silver rectangle to the top of the circle to make it look like an ornament.

  5. Add a cute little bow on the top

My gosh, I just love how the ornament and the entire card turned out. The measurements are as follows.

Thick Basic White cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 11"

Basic White cardstock:

-2 3/8" x 3 5/8"

-3" x 3" square for the paper strips

Polished Pink cardstock:

-2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

-3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper:

--3 3/4" xx 5"

-Six pieces 3" x 1/2"

Silver Foil Paper:

-1/2" x 1/2"

You can see a complete list of supplies for this card, as well as links to the products in my online store at the end of this blog post.

Happy stamping!

Amy
