A Pretty Fall Card

Updated: Nov 17, 2023

A choose what I use presented to customers Tuesday on Facebook helped determine that I was going to use the Ringed with Nature stamp set during What's Up! Stampers on Wednesday.

I created a simple card using just stamps, ink, paper, and ribbon. Collage stamping using this cool (and versatile) Ringed with Nature stamp set made this card super simple.

Here is a quick overview of the steps taken to create this card.

  • Start with a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" Very Vanilla cardstock

  • Stamp the tree rings in Crumb Cake ink, first "stamping off" on a piece of grid paper, then onto the Very Vanilla layer.

  • Stamp the acorn trio three times in Crumb Cake ink.

  • Stamp the acorn tops in Early Espresso ink.

  • Stamp the 3-leaf stems in Old Olive ink

  • Stamp the single leaf in Mossy Meadow ink.

One of the coolest things on this card is when I stamped on the ribbon. I did hold down the "Thinking of You" stamp on the ribbon for a little extra longer to let it soak into the ribbon. Cool, eh?

You can watch as I create this card: https://www.facebook.com/stampinnut/videos/1816762425423885 and see the list of supplies below.

Happy stamping!

Amy
