Another Diorama Card

On June 19, I wrote a blog post about a diorama card. I made the card using the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit.

Then I received my pre-order of items from the Online Exclusive release. Having this diorama card fresh in my mind, I knew immediately upon seeing the new One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper from the Suite Collection of the same name, that I had to make another using those papers. On Wednesday during What's Up! Stampers, I made that happen.

Aren't the papers I used just gorgeous? The basic measurements of the card are the same as the one I made for my June 19 blog post. Again, you can read about that one - and get the measurements for both cards - here.

There are some details on this card that I want to make sure to point out. First of all the front of the card is pretty basic. I adhered a piece of 3 5/8" x 5 1/2" Designer Series Paper onto the front of the card base. I stamped, colored, and used the Horse & Sleigh dies to cut out the one horse open sleigh. However, I mostly just used the horse and the front of the sleigh to fit the horse on the front of the card and cut off the rest. The sentient was stamped on one of the Stylish Shapes Die cuts using Early Espresso ink. A tree cut from the 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper and some new Online Exclusive Adhesive-backed Snowflakes. JUST GORGEOUS!

For the general card base, I assembled the card as I shared in the video on June 19. If you missed it, you can watch it here:

What I did differently with this one is that I adhered a 3 1/8" x 5 1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper to the right side of the cards base, cut out the circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies from the center of the panel, then assembled the diorama. I replaced the circle by adhering it to the inside of the diorama, which is a cool look. The little mounds of snow made at the bottom of the card were cut from the Horse & Sleigh Dies. Just perfect!

I hope you love the Online Exclusive products I used here as much as I do. You can shop for the products I used and see all of the available Online Exclusive products by heading here.

Thanks for reading, my friends! Happy creating!

Amy
