There really is never a dull moment around here. Do you have the same excitement in your life? The latest and greatest is that Terry and I just last week have become empty nesters. Last week we moved 20 year old Grace out of the house. What a crazy thing. To have little people, then adults living in your house for nearly 23 years, and now nothing but dogs...it's weird. But she's happy and independent, and that's how we raised her, so mission accomplished, right??
Still weird.
But guess what. I'm back! It's been awhile, but I'm back with a card I made months ago but finally just last week shared during What's Up! Stampers. This one is made using some Online Exclusive products that I fell in love with months ago. The products were not made for each other. In fact, they weren't even released at the same time. But like I said, they can both be found in the Online Exlusives section of my online store, which you can access here. The two (well, technically three) products I used on my card from the Online Exclusives are the Simply Zinnia Bundle and the Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Since Pebbled Path is my favorite 2023-2025 In Color, I chose the Pebbled Path Tartan Foil piece of the paper to showcase in my card. And what I love about this card design is that it showcases both sides of that beautiful paper. Isn't it beautiful both inside and out?
To create the card opening, I started with a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP), measuring 5" x 6". I scored the 6" height at 2 1/4", which I folded to use as the card front. I attached the larger section of the DSP to a piece of 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" Basic White cardstock, then onto a piece of Basic Gray measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies for my other layers.
I truly do love how this card uses just Pebbled Path and Basic White. In addition, the Tartan Foil makes it very rich. You can watch me make this card by heading here. Find the supply list - along with links to my online store - at the bottom of this blog post.
Happy stamping!

Beautiful card! I love monochrome cards! I must’ve done something wrong with my kids, as much as I love them, there comes a time when they just need to go. Mine left the house too in the early 20’s, but they keep coming back. I’m still trying to figure out where I went wrong. Have a 47 and a 48 year old. Maybe my prayers aren’t strong enough or they need to be more direct. 😆
