In years past when a catalog was nearing the end of its life, Stampin' Up!® would come out with a last chance list. Yes, the items on it were "while supplies last," but after the last date on the catalog, we'd be unable to order those items until they'd possibly come back in the Clearance Rack. But last week we started a new retirement procedure, which will feature a real and true WHILE SUPPLIES LAST situation.
There is a new Last Chance section in the online store which will hold retiring items until they are sold out. There is no more Clearance Rack and no more "end of catalog" retirement process. The Last Chance section will update 6 times a year - the "even" months - starting with December this year, and again in February, April, etc.
Items in the Last Chance section may be discounted, not unlike the old Last Chance lists. I presume that if an item is in the Last Chance section in the online store for a long time, the price could be reduced the next time the Last Chance is updated. for example, if the Dear Santa stamp set (which is on the Last Chance list) does not sell out by the time the Mini Catalog is over, it'll just stay in the Last Chance section of the website. If it doesn't sell out by February, I suspect Stampin' Up! may decide to then discount the stamp set in the February Last Chance refresh.

Remember earlier when I said there is still a list? Well, here is the most current one. It includes a variety of products (as it will) from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives. Click the box below to get your hands on that list. Print it out, download it and save it...up to you!
This list will change hourly, based on things changing, such as items selling out. It is accessible to demonstrators on Stampin' Up!®'s demonstrator website. If all this is a little confusing, I'm happy to answer any of your questions. I think this is a great change, based on the fact that we've got so many Online Exclusive products now. This retiring method will be a lot easier to keep track what's retiring. And always remember that these items are available while supplies last. In other words, if there's something on the list you'd like, don't wait! You could miss your chance!
