Changing Leaves Series: Part 1

There are three big things happening that started July 3, and since they're all amazing, I'm going to start with my favorite: All new Online Exclusive products! There are some amazing Christmas, Fall, and Halloween products, and more! Check them out below, but shop for them in my online store at bit.ly/shopwithamyjuly24.

Among my favorites in this new release are the Changing Leaves. This bundle includes three fantastic coordinating products

  • Changing Leaves stamp set

  • Changing Leaves Dies

  • Changing Leaves Hybrid Emboss Folder

The Hybrid Embossing Folder is so cool because it skips a step...you get to cut those leaves and emboss them all at the same time. And the detail on these leaves are stunning. I decided that because I didn't want this bundle to get lost in the shuffle of all the new products,I should share a project made with them. That's exactly what I did during What's Up! Stampers on Wednesday. I made this card on camera, showing how to get that cool leaf that sits as the focal point.

Here are the steps I used to make the leaf:

  1. Spritz a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with water using the Stampin' Spritzer.

  2. Drip drops of ink refill of desired colors of ink on the wet watercolor paper, and watch them spread.

  3. If some colors aren't spreading in the water as desired, use a Water Painter to spread the color, making sure the colors run together.

  4. Dry the Watercolor Paper with a heat tool.

  5. Run the Watercolor Paper through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, sandwiched in the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. (Make sure to put the die in the embossing folder before running it through the machine so it cuts AND embosses the leaves).

Look closely to see the beautifully embossed detail in the leaf.

For the background, I simply embossed the Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered it "debossed" side up. It's pretty either way, so why not try either side of the embossed paper?

To see me make this card head here, and to see all the supplies I used on it (several Online Exclusive products!), along with links to my online store, scroll to the bottom of this post.

The one Online Exclusive product not on the flyers I shared above is the long-awaited Glass Mat Studio. I've decided that since this amazing product is now available for purchase for everyone, I'd offer some usage guides for those who purchase it from me.

Here are the details:

All who purchase the Glass Mat Studio from me this month receive:

  • Three video tutorials on ways to use it, coming in July, August, and September

  • Three card tutorial PDFs, coming in July, August, and September

  • $5 in Bonus Days coupons to use in August

Place your order here, and let me know if you have any questions: https://bit.ly/shopwithamyjuly24

The second thing about July 3: Don't forget that Bonus Days has started, too! Receive a $5 coupon to spend in August for every $50 you spend in my online store in July! After you place your July order, you will receive coupon codes via email. Save that email and those codes in a safe place to find when August hits! Questions? Make sure to contact me.

Finally, July 3 brought two new, sweet kits to our Kits Collection. Find those on the Kits Collection page in my online store.

Happy creating!

Amy

Beautiful simple Card; I love it!!!

As I was looking at the new online only buys, I saw a few things I doubt anyone even noticed 😂. I’m not a Halloween person and there’s no kids anywhere near where I live; they’re all grown adults now. Having said that, whenever I see anything that is more for Halloween, I always try to find another use and this time it was really easy, especially with the “Passions and Potions” and “Sophisticated Sled”. Wonder if anyone else does this 😝. When I have a stamp set or bundle like that, I turn it around in all different directions until I see something completely different, then it’s intended purpose. I have quite the…
