Thursday's What's Up! Stampers? was so much fun! I made a project and let my audience choose what supplies I'd use. This is the card we made:
So how did this Choose What I Use event work? I started by asking what floral piece of Designer Series Paper we would use.
After those in attendance chose the multi-floral Designer Series Paper, I shared that I'd be creating a background using the Designer Series Paper and asked if I should use the Tailored Tag punch or a die from the Tasteful Labels dies to create that background.
After choosing the die from the Tasteful Labels, the group also chose a Basic White background for our punched pieces over Very Vanilla. And the background was built.
After choosing Bumblebee for the card base and a Magenta Madness tulip as the flower, I finished the card with a sentiment, some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, and a little swatch of Just Jade gingham ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
A special note about the tulip in the picture: I punched a tulip and two petals (also can be used as leaves) from Magenta Madness cardstock. When I adhered the petals to the the tulip, I added regular Stampin' Seal adhesive to the bottom edges of the petals and put a Stampin' Dimensional near the top of each petal to give the tulip a more depth and realistic look.
You can watch the What's Up! Stampers? where I featured this project here. For a complete list of supplies, see below. And watch for more Facebook Live opportunities to Choose What I Use!
Happy Stamping!
