I have been waiting for Christmas in July since December 26, 2023. 😆 So when July finally rolled around, I knew we had to celebrate! Official Christmas in July projects once a week seem to be my answer. Last week, I published the blog post and video tutorial for Project #1. It's a gorgeous card that uses new Online Exclusive products from Stampin' Up!®
From the beginning, I've been in love with the Trucking Along Bundle. It was released in the July 2023 Online Exclusives and it still "rolling along." 😉 I love how it provides an opportunity to stamp for any season, and I personally feel like it's got the ability to look rustic or classy, depending on the products with which you pair it. And who doesn't love a good punch bundle? Take a look at this one:
A few months ago, I received a swap card from a team member of mine. Connie Paustian used the Trucking Along bundle on her card and paired it with a circle of Country Woods Designer Series Paper. It's so adorable and makes my eyes happy.
I love Connie's card so much that I wanted to replicate it by turning it into a Christmas card. It was my strong desire to use not only the Trucking Along bundle, but also some of our new Online Exclusive products. Here's my final product.
I used the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder for the background and the Deckled Circles Dies from the Online Exclusives. But look closely. I cut the Deckled Circle from some of our beautiful new vellum, the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper. I think the middle one pictured below, the one I used, is the most underrated of the three sheets. There's a fine white speckle pattern on it, perfect to replicate snow.
Stamping the sentiment on the vellum was tricky. It needs extra time to dry. blotting it with a tissue after a few minutes helps with the drying process, too.
I give other tips for this card in my video tutorial, which you can watch here:
You can see the supplies I used on the card - along with links to my online store - at the bottom of this post.
Happy Christmas in July, friends!

I like all of the cards!!! Since I like simplicity and a touch of elegance, if I had to make a bunch, I probably would choose the white with the red truck. I know you mentioned that it took a while to get the ink to dry on the vellum, I would just do all the vellum first and while it’s drying, work on the rest of the card and if it’s still not completely dry, I could use the heat tool to help it a little or I could stamp them in mirror image using the silicone craft sheet; glass mat might work for that too but not sure since I’ve only used the craft sheet to do mirror…
