Easter Basket? May Day Basket? Gift Bag? You Choose!

I feel like there is always a reason to need a gift bag, and this time of year is no different. As I write this on Easter Sunday evening, I realize it may be a little late to make an Easter basket, but May Day is coming up, and we've always got someone to give a gift to, don't we?
On Wednesday, April 16, during What's Up! Stampers, I decorated one of the bags from our Gift Bags Combo Pack, which is on the Last Chance list, using another great Last Chance item, our Linked Together Decorative Masks.
I started with the larger bag and used Petal Pink ink and a Blending Brush to add color through Decorative Mask #1.
I did both sides the same way, then reached for Decorative Mask #3 for the second step, using Fresh Freesia ink.
I finished decorating the bag by using Decorative Mask #5 and Night of Navy ink.
I love that the Decorative Masks fit almost perfectly on the bag, leaving a nice, even white border all the way around. I punched holes in the top of the bag using the Hole Punch Assortment, which was part of the newest Online Exclusives release.

Then I added the beautiful Petal Pink 3/8" Scalloped Ribbon as handles by tying knots in the two 12" pieces of ribbon on the insides of the bag.

The results are simply adorable.

And don't you just love how the tag turned out? I used the coordinating Linked Together stamp set and dies to create that (note that the Linked Together Bundle includes the stamps, dies, AND Decorative Masks!), then added the Neutral Matte Dots for the flowers' centers.
This bag is cute enough for an Easter Basket, May Day Basket, or a gift bag, right? You can watch me make the bag by heading here. Snag the Last Chance products while you can at bit.ly/amyrichlastchance, and while you shop, earn your very own rewards with our new rewards program!
