I think one of the coolest things about the majority of our Stampin' Up!® products is that they can be used by beginners and avid crafters, alike. The Enjoy the Journey Suite Collection is no different. The simplest of projects can be made with these products, and they are just as beautiful as the more complicated ones. And I've made both.
This is one of my cradle cards, and it doesn't use much more than just paper!
As a demonstrator, Stampin' Up! provides me with resources for project ideas, and it's fun each Tuesday to receive an email titled Succeed Weekly, where project ideas are always included. This week they shared three projects using the Enjoy the Journey Suite, which appeal to the beginning, casual, and avid crafters. They're fantastic, and each showcases more of the Enjoy the Journey product than the last.
The first uses just Basic White cardstock. Don't you just love the clean look and the way they used the grass stamp to create the background paper for the sentiment?
The third - for the avid crafter - uses a wide variety of paper, stamps, and dies, and is also beautiful!
But it was the second the caught my eye, as I wanted to showcase something the casual crafter could create while playing in their craft rooms.
For this card, use Designer Series Paper for your 4-7/8" x 3-3/4" piece, cut it into three 1-5/8" panels, and adhere it to the Starry Sky Cardstock card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp three trees with Shaded Spruce ink, and die cut. Die cut the cloud with Smoky Slate cardstock and the moon using Crushed Curry. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment on the 3/4" x 2" Basic White Cardstock piece and adhere to the card, over a 3/4" x 2 1/2" piece of the Enjoy the Adventure Designer Series Paper.
Don't the products make the card? Simply fantastic! You can watch as I make this card by visiting my Facebook page. (You don't have to have a Facebook account to watch!) Happy creating, whether you are a beginner, casual, or avid crafter!
