As you know, I love my Paper Pumpkin kits! They contain everything I need to make the projects specified in the box. Everything from the stamp set to the ink, adhesive, card stock, and embellishments, to the instructions on how to make the projects, are found right inside that little orange box. Each month the projects are a surprise, but each month, I'm so excited to open it up and see what I get to create! I think the embellishments are my favorite part, although I do love to check out the stamp set as soon as I open the box, too. It's like Christmas every month when I get to open that box!
September's kit is already on its way, but it's October's kit I look for to already now. Why? Because it really is a taste of Christmas. It's a Christmas kit! The closer we get to Christmas, the more excited I get, and these Christmas-themed projects will really get me in the spirit! I know...it seems awfully early to think about Christmas, right? Well, in the world of paper crafting, it's really never too soon to start your Christmas cards and gifts. Even the little ad Stampin' Up!® has shared with us has me all excited. Oh, and it says it's elegant! I'm so intrigued!
One of the first things I do when I open my Paper Pumpkin box each month is start to think about what else I can make with it. When I first opened August's kit, I loved the colors and I loved the style. With that kit, we have a great opportunity to celebrate people. The August kit featured trophies and awards and ribbons, and when I opened it up and saw all that fun, I also decided that people would perhaps want to use the kit for something a little different. So I turned the supplies to make these cards...
Into this card:
I'm really happy with how it turned out, and it uses lots of supplies from the kit and combines them with products from the Annual Catalog, as well. For a complete list of extra supplies see below, and for a tutorial on how to make this card, watch here:
