The 12 Projects of Christmas 2023 marches on, as over the weekend I shared the 9th Project. And it's a goodie! It's a regular card base, turned into a gift card holder, with just a small cut and an extra fold!
This view shows the inside of your card. Cut from the top center down to 2 3/4", then score from the cut to the left side of the card. Fold that upper left hand section down to create a gift card holder, but don't forget to notch a partial circle so the receiver can easily grab the gift card! I used the 1 3/4" Circle punch to make my notch.
Here's my finished product. I kept the decorating simple, to show how quick an easy a gift card holder can be made in a pinch.
Before this became the 9th in The 12 Projects of Christmas 2023, I actually made it with my team during a recent team meeting. I sent my team these basic cutting instructions before the gathering so they could prepare their own supplies and create with me.
You can watch me make this card, by watching the official 12 Projects of Christmas 2023: Project #9 video:
Check out all the supplies I used in this card at the bottom of this blog post. You can click on the photos of the products to get to the items in my online store.
Happy shopping AND creating!
