New Annual Catalogs come only once a year, and when that one week comes the same week as a big fundraising event you're organizing, the result is kind of a hot mess. Between preparing projects and posts with the new catalog in mind and uploading silent auction items to our Gala auction website, there were some seriously crazy weeks. Over a week has gone by and it seems as though the catch-up is endless. Will it get better? Absolutely. But not before one more little diversion...a really really nice diversion.

Stampin' Up!® Incentive Trip Achievers during the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! year were slated to travel to Maui in July of 2020. With Covid in the mix, that trip was postponed to May 2021 and would be combined with the trip for achievers for the following year. Those who earned both trips would be offered an extended Maui vacation with extra perks! With a son who is now stationed outside of Fairbanks, AK, we decided to take the monetary pay-out for the Maui Elite (extended) trip and use the money to go see Owen. But TODAY WAS THE DAY we headed to Maui for our very special pampering session, and we are stoked!

The pampering started a couple of months ago, when we received our initial package from Stampin' Up! in preparation, complete with a travel folder, name tags, special masks, and bag tags.

As the Maui Elite trip achievers have been posting the lovely things they've experienced these last few days, Terry and I are excited to be here and do nothing. Life's been crazy for both of us. Spending a little R & R together with sprinkles of visiting with our stamping friends will be therapeutic in more ways than one, especially considering we haven't been able to get together or travel for over a year.

Today has been eventful for sure, and we are exhausted. Upon our arrival on Maui, we had to go through a number of things to prove we aren't bringing the virus here. After checking in to the hotel, we headed right up to our room to check out the view. Not too shabby.

We rested a bit then explored the resort. BIG and BEAUTIFUL comes to mind when talking about Grand Wailea Resort, and we are certainly happy to be vacationing here the next five days.

Finally, as Stampin' Up!® always does, they put on a fun Aloha party, where we could grab some yummy snacks and catch up with those demonstrators we haven't seen in what seems like forever. Here are just a few pics from tonight's party:

I am forever grateful to be a part of the Stampin' Up!® family. What a huge blessing to be treated with the utmost respect for what we do as demonstrators. And to all of you reading this who have supported me the last couple of years and have enjoyed our time together: THANK YOU! To all of the members of the Nutso Average Stampers: I love you. We have created a family that I truly cherish. You are a huge reason I am here in Maui right now.

As a thank you to all of my customers, I'm offering a Buy 4, Get 1 FREE ink pads and card stock during this time while I'm gone, Wednesday, May 19, to Sunday, May 23. Mix and match ink pads and cardstock, too! IF YOU ORDER ONLINE using the "shop" button above, please do NOT order your free ink pad or package of cardstock there.
