There's no easy way to title your blog post when you want to touch on two completely different things at once.Let me just put that out there. :)
This has become a "thing" with Stampin' Up!®, and I love it:
Release products from a new catalog early, then add exclusive coordinating products as a "while supplies last" purchase opportunity.
This year's early release products and exclusive limited time products are absolutely gorgeous! The Eden's Garden Collection is now available! Included in the offering are the following:
Eden's Garden cling stamp set
Eden Dies (can be purchased for 10% off in a bundle with the stamp set)
Ever Eden 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
Ever Eden 12" x 12" Cotton Paper (Evening Evergreen and Soft Succuent)
Garden Gems
Here's the thing, though...only the bundle (or stamp set and dies sold separately) will be available in the new January-June Mini Catalog. The paper and gems will be available only while supplies last. Let's review what happened with the Butterfly Brilliance Designer Series Paper that was sold the same way last spring...it was gone in two weeks. So let this be a lesson. DO. NOT. WAIT. You can place your order using my monthly host code for some fun extra side benefits. Use this link to place your order OR sign up for my Buy & Try class by Wednesday, November 3, in which you'll receive ALL these amazing new products!
Moving on to the fourth in my 12 Projects of Christmas 2021...
As many of you know, one of my favorite things to do with my Paper Pumpkin kit each month is to create a fancy alternate project to share with my subscribers in a free class, then ultimately with anyone who is interested. Typically my alternate project is a fun fold card or something that make people say "wow!" or at the very least, "well, that's cool!"
October's Paper Pumpkin kit was simply gorgeous, and I knew when using that beautiful product I'd have to really make something that would stand out above the ordinary.
So after studying all the product in the box (shown above), I decided a triple cube pop-up card would be the ticket. All I added of my own supplies were the following pieces of cardstock...
Shaded Spruce cardstock:
-4" x 8 1/2", scored at 2", 4", 6", and 8"
Basic White cardstock:
-Two pieces 1 3/4" x 3 3/4"
-Four pieces 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Cut up some paper from the kit, add some glue, and voila!:
Ok, so perhaps it's more complicated than "cut some paper, add some glue, and voila," but it's not difficult to make - just takes a bit of time.
From a Shaded Spruce card from the kit, cut two pieces 2" x 8 1/2", and score at 2", 4", 6", and 8", as shown in the diagram below. Fold those to make the front cubes. From my own piece of Shaded Spruce (4" x 8 1/2"), I created the large cube. Again, I followed the cutting and scoring diagram below.
After preparing all three pieces of this card, I then adhered them together to create the base of this cool card. Using more pieces from the kit, I decorated it! For a complete tutorial, check out the video I created:
Doubling up The 12 Projects of Christmas 2021 and the Christmas-themed October Paper Pumpkin kit was just a natural decision for me. I hope you enjoy the two combined into one, and if you don't happen to have received the Paper Pumpkin kit, I just know this project will get your creative juices flowing!
Stamping blessings!
Amy
