You don't always need to make things complicated or use a special technique to make a card beautiful. Sometimes the simplest of cards is the most beautiful, and this one that I made is a great example.
What makes this card so beautiful, I think, is the Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Thougthful Journey DSP has watercolored landscapes that are so soft and elegant, and the colors are rich and blend so well. You can see the papers below, with the one I decided to use on my card pulled out to be showcased.
I cut the DSP piece so it measures 3 3/4" x 5", then adhered it to a card base that I cut 4 1/4" x 11", then folded in half. The next beautiful element is the archway that comes from the Garden Meadow Dies. Check out how pretty those dies are. They are sold separately, or better yet, part of a bundle with the coordinating stamp set in Stampin' Up!®'s Online Exclusives. Note that I did use the stamp set for its "Thinking of You" sentiment, too.
I cut the arch from the center of a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Blackberry Bliss cardstock, which I adhered over the DSP using Stampin' Up!'s Foam Adhesive Strips. The grass was cut from a 4" x 2" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock using the amazing grass die (see the dies photo above - it's on the bottom left).
