Slick Little Boxes

I just popped on today to share with you the box I made during What's Up! Stampers? on Wednesday. It's so cute, and it's made with very little:

-6" x 4" card from a Memories & More Card Pack or a 4" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper

-2" x 3" (scored at 1 1/2") piece of cardstock for the topper

-16" length of ribbon or twine

-adhesive

-desired embellishments

That's it!

The box I shared during What's Up! was made with a 6" x 4" card from Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack and Poppy Parade cardstock. I used the Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine to hold the top closed, then embellished the topper with a tag from the Memories & More Card Pack. See the supplies I used with links to my online store below the photo.

You can watch me make the box above on my Facebook page, but here is how to score those little 4" x 6" pieces of cardstock:

These went together so quickly and easily that I had to make more. Here's my adorable foursome.

The next one I made was with the Today is the day Memories & More Card Pack. This time I used Crushed Curry cardstock for the topper and pieces from the Card Pack as 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" pieces to layer on the topper.

For the way I designed this box, you must have ribbon or twine for the topper. Why, you ask? Because when you adhere the topper to the back of the box and fold it over the front of the box, ribbon or twine allows you to close the box without adhering it shut. This makes it easy to get the treats out!

I decided to keep this next one simple. I used the Metallic & Shimmer 6" x 6" Specialty Paper cut to size for the card base and Gold Glimmer for the topper. Very elegant.

Finally, I couldn't help but make one using the Fitting Florets Collection available now. So pretty in blue and pink!

These little boxes are perfect for party favors, a teeny Secret Santa treat, or table place cards. Such a quick and easy gift for someone special! I'd love for you to share with me what you come up with! Have fun!
