Confession time. From about 2014-2018, here is how my 12 Projects of Christmas went...videos were done and posted something like this:
December 1
December 4
December 7
December 10
December 14
December 17
December 19
December 20
December 21
December 22
December 23
December 24
Past years' project videos weren't planned great, and all of the sudden at the end, I was scrambling to get everything done. I think there was even a year or two in there that I posted a video on Christmas Day - possibly after. Last year I began the videos the beginning of November, but again, got side-tracked and had a hard time making sure to get them all done in a timely manner. I believe I uploaded the 12th project in the middle of December. When I share Christmas projects so late in December, I can't possibly expect that those videos would be helpful for you all to use for Christmas that same year.
So excuse me if I'm pretty proud of myself this year for going in with a plan. I wanted to post videos on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday (no matter what time!). I wanted to post them all in November so that it would give people time to actually use the project ideas for this year. I skipped Black Friday and still was able to accomplish my 12 Projects of Christmas goals! Weehoo! Thank you. Thank you very much.
So without further ado, here is project #12! I decided that gift packaging would be an appropriate finish to all of the amazing 11 projects that came before it.
For this project, I started with a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box, which we sell in packages of 10 in my online store. I covered that box with 6 pieces of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper, cut the following sizes:
Two pieces 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Two pieces 1" x 5 3/4"
Two pieces 1" x 3 3/4"
Then I made a messy bow, using lots of ribbons in reds, green, and white, and attached it to my box with Mini Glue Dots. To see my messy bow process - which I learned by watching fun crafting videos on Facebook Watch - watch my 12th project of Christmas project video!
What I love about this project is that anyone can do it. It's simple, yet unique. And the bow is just really fun. For an even fluffier and amazing bow, keep adding more ribbon! For a complete list of supplies (including all the ribbons) I used, as well as links to them straight to my online store, check this out:
