Now, for the long-awaited Project #7 of my 12 Projects of Christmas 2021! This is a project I made several months ago, when preparing for a presentation I was giving at a demonstrator event. I was excited to come up with something a little unique, and because it was received well, I figured it would make the perfect project for my Christmas series.
After cutting the piece of gold foil using the template below, I used the Giving Gifts Dies to cut the snowflake windows. The dies are beautifully intricate, and I used the snowflake die on each panel of the lantern, after which I adhered a gorgeous piece of Gold Shimmer Vellum on each panel. I cut the four pieces of Gold Shimmer Vellum 1 5/8" x 3 3/8"
These lanterns are unbelievably easy to make. I share a number of tips and tricks for putting them together in my latest 12 Projects of Christmas video tutorial. When you go there to watch, don't forget to click "subscribe" so you don't miss out on a single video coming your way. Projects 8-12 will be shared this week and next, and each one will be sweeter than the last!
