Another gift card holder? YES! Another gift card holder. One of my many stamping obsessions. This one is a dandy, as we open the card up then open it down to reveal a pocket for our gift card holder.
And lo and behold, I use The Season of Green and Gold Suite Collection products on this card - another Christmas stamping obsession. I mean, seriously. Look at this gorgeous paper!
To make the card, I started with a piece of 4 1/4” x 11” Old Olive cardstock and scored it at 1 1/2”, 5 3/4”, and 9 3/4”. I folded on the score lines, folding each in the same direction, causing the card to fold in on itself.
I added a piece of 4” x 1 1/4” strip of the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper onto the 1 1/2” section. This will become the top of the card, but first, I opened up the card and cut a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies out of the card. Half of the circle was cut from that 1 1/2” section with the Design Series Paper and the other half from the adjacent side.
The rest of the card turned out to be quite simple. Adding layers of Designer Series Paper about does it. Here are the sizes:
-Two pieces 4” x 3 3/4”
-4” x 1” for the gift card pocket section
I also added a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 4” x 4” to the inside of the card. Of course, I had to stamp it with the Golden Greenery stamp set to make it really pretty. 😊
Finally to the focal point of the card, the circle protruding from the top of the card. The circle is decorated with a couple of pieces from a pine die from the Golden Greenery Dies cut from a piece of Gold Foil. I then fussy cut a pair of bells to layer over the top of those gold pieces using Stampin' Dimensionals.
You can watch here as I make the card:
With essentially four gift card holders being shared during this 12 Projects of Christmas, everyone should get their gift card presented in a cute way, right? I hope you’ve enjoyed the gift card holder ideas this year, but card #12 will be back to simple basics. See you soon with Project #12!
Happy gift card giving!
