Clean and beautiful is the name of the game for Project #2. Every part of the card adds to its beauty, from the Designer Series Paper to the two sets of dies, to the gold embossing, to the pop of gold with the ribbon. Check out this amazing card:
I made this card using essentially two pieces of paper and a couple of scraps. I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4". With just a small bit of Stampin' Seal near the upper center of the 4" x 5 1/4" Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper (DSP), it's adhered to the card base, then a window cut out of the front of the card using one of the Nested Essentials Dies.
Because the DSP wasn't adhered on its outside edges, it was removed easily from the card base. The three bare trees die from the Frosted Forest Dies made the perfect scene in the window, so I adhered it to the back of the DSP. I then re-adhered that DSP back into place on the card base so that the windows lined up.
I stamped and embossed in gold the sentiment in the window, then added the second half of the sentiment on one of the banners from the Nested Essentials Dies. The pop of gold ribbon makes it perfect!
I think what I love most about this card is that it's even pretty when opened!
