The 12 Projects of Christmas 2024: Project #3

If it wasn't clear before, it's sure clear now...I'm obssessed with gold. 😆 Project #3 - like the two that came before it - uses the Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used both bundles from the Season of Elegance Suite Collection to make the card.

The third project is another that is just stunning.

I stamped the two larger trees from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic Beige cardstock. I cut them out using the coordinating dies, then placed them over two of the trees in the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder to give them added texture. Notice that the trees aren't designed to match the embossing folder exactly, but since the trees that I wanted to give texture are smaller than the trees in the embossing folder, it worked perfectly. I sure wish the camera could give it justice!

To round out the focal image, I used the Pretty Peacock piece of Designer Series Paper and cut a frame with it using the Countryside Corners Dies.

I flipped the frame around to use the more plain side of the Designer Series Paper.

One more thing about this card I should note: the shape on which I stamped the sentiment is actually a die that helps make a little 3D bow. I re-purposed it because it seemed to fit nicely on the banner die I cut from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper.

Thank you so much for coming to take a peek at my card and following along with The 12 Projects of Christmas 2024! Check back again soon for Project #4!

Happy stamping!
