The 12 Projects of Christmas 2024: Project #9

A serious obsession with gift card holders has produced the second of those in this year's Christmas series, and I love it! At the end of August, I created this card during What's Up! Stampers on Facebook:

You can see my blog post about this card by clicking here. And since I've been in love with that card for three months, I had to try my hand at a Christmas edition.

There is a lot going on in this card, and watching my put it together here will help you understand its parts and pieces.

Here are the paper size details:

Poppy Parade cardstock (card base):

-7 3/4" x 5 1/2"

I scored this piece 2 1/2" from the left edge and 1" from the right edge.

Basic White cardstock:

-4" x 5 1/4"

Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper (DSP):

After folding the card base on each score line in towards the center (similar to a gate-fold), adhere the following DSP to those flaps.

-2 1/4" x 5 1/4"

-3/4" x 5 1/4"

A third piece of DSP is needed to create the gift card pocket.

-5 3/4" x 5 1/2", scored at 4"

I notched out a partial 1 3/4" circle from the narrow section of this piece of DSP, then folded that section on the score line and glued the edges to create a pocket for the gift card. I adhered the wider section of the DSP to the inside of the right flap of the card base, which then creates the tri-fold.

Isn't it fun?? That Snowy Wonder Bundle and Snowy Scenes DSP makes coordination a breeze.

Check below for a complete list of items I used on this card, then click on the items to find them in my online store. Thanks for going on this 12 Projects journey with me. Three more to go!

Happy Christmas!

Amy
