The Beauty of Nature's Harvest

You know what it's like the first time you open a catalog...a new Stampin' Up!® catalog. It's almost like Christmas! What's new? What's unique? New tools, new papers, new stamps, dies and bundles! When the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog was released in May (and actually, when demonstrators could pre-order from the catalog in April), I had my eyes immediately on the Quiet Meadow Bundle.

Quiet Meadow and I have gotten along quite nicely, making some pretty amazing cards together, but then I saw the Nature's Harvest bundle in the July-December Mini Catalog, and it very nearly took my breath away. How can this company continue to outdo themselves? I have no idea, but once again, I fell in love.

Fall is my favorite time of year, so maybe that's the draw to leaves and fall flowers. Whatever it is, I. Love. Fall. Stamps. And the uniqueness of this one gets me all excited!

The first card I created with it turned out beautifully, I think.

A Z-fold card has long been a favorite of fun folds for me, so I gravitate towards it often. Fold the Early Espresso card in half, then fold the front in half back on itself. As shown in the first picture above, I used Bumblebee cardstock embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder to cover nearly the entire front of the card, which is different than most Z-fold cards I've made.

For the sunset-esque background, I used blending brushes and Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Bumblebee ink. Soooo pretty!

I cut the paper for this card as follows:

Early Espresso cardstock:

-5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"

Very Vanilla cardstock:

-4" x 5 1/4" for the inside of the card

-2 1/2" x 5 1/2" for the sunset piece

-Scrap for the label

Bumblebee cardstock:

-3 3/4" x 5 1/2"

So, yep. I've fallen in love again. The Quiet Meadow Bundle and the Nature's Harvest Bundle are both amazing and both worth every penny. Plus, with Sale-a-bration going on right now, you can purchase both of these bundles and choose either two Level 1 Sale-a-bration items or one Level 2 Sale-a-bration item. Place that order in my online store, and also receive a free card kit at the end of the month (THREE cards!).

Card kits are super fun, but so are tutorials! To thank you for your loyalty and support, I'd like to share with you a free project tutorial created by Stampin' Up!®, featuring none other than the amazing Quiet Meadow bundle! Please enjoy making these two cards with your own supplies, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
