The Beauty of the Seascape Bundle

This bundle. Ok, so admittedly it wasn't one that I had first decided I had to have, but It is one that just weeks ago I decided must go on my next order. What prompted it, of course, is the current Savings are in Bloom promotion, which features a large chunk of our die bundles (stamp set and coordinating dies) at 20% off. This was one of bundles that I knew I wanted to play with right away, and today I share those playtime results with you...because you know...I fell in love.

The first one I made was simple. No dies, just stamps, ink, paper, accessories.

Basic White cardstock:

-3" x 4 1/4"

-Label Me Lovely Punched piece

On the 3" x 4 1/4" piece of white, I stamped the speckles from the stamp set to look like sand. Then I used my Blending Brushes to add color to the entire piece of cardstock - Crumb Cake ink blended on the bottom over the sand, and Pool Party above that. I then stamped the seaweed in Shaded Spruce ink, the fish in Night of Navy, adn the bubbles in Pool Party.

Night of Navy cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 11", scored in half at 5 1/2"

3 1/8" x 4 3/8"

Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper:

-4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

Links for each product I used to make this card can be found below.

For the second card, I used some of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper to jazz up my little fish die cut. As you can see in the product photo at the top of the page, this die does not cut out the entire image. The parts that get cut make the image looks so incredibly clean and gorgeous. But for this card, I trimmed out the pieces of the fish that were still in the paper after running it through the machine, then added it to the front of my card.

Gorgeous Grape cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

4" x 5 1/4", embossed in the Splatters from the Stripes and Splatters

Pool Party cardstock:

-3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

-Scrap for the label cut from the Beautiful Shapes Dies from the Mini Catalog.

Basic Black cardstock:

-3" x 3" - stamp the Gentle Waves back grouch stamp in white ink, then rub lightly with the Coastal Cabana pastel chalks assortmeny.

Rainbow Glimmer Paper:

-4 1/4" x 3/4"

-Large scrap for the fish (approximately 3" x 3 3/4")

Finally, to showcase the way the dies are meant to create interest, I made this beauty, and the Pearlescent Specialty Paper steals the show.

Pool Party cardstock:

5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Pearlescent Specialty Paper:

-4" x 5 1/4"

Wrap the ribbon around three fingers at least twice. I tied a second piece around that to create the bow. I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink, but because of the dry time of the ink on Pearlescent Paper, I embossed the words in clear embossing powder. You can watch me make this card during the What's Up! Stampers found here.

Don't forget this Seascape bundle is not only on sale, but it's retiring and only available while supplies last! Enjoy these projects, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Happy stamping!

Amy
