This fun fold from Wednesday's What's Up! is so simple, you're going to wonder what you did wrong. 😆
I started with one piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock. I cut the card base from that, which measures 11" x 4 1/4", and three circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used the Stylish Shapes Die that measures about 2 1/2" in diameter.
I scored the card base 3 5/8" from each end, then accordion folded it. It's skinnier and shorter than your normal card size, and I added some Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper on the left and right panels. Those are 3 3/8" x 4". A piece of Basic White cardstock that same size went in the middle (with a 3 3/8" x 1" border of Designer Series Paper at the bottom) so a sentiment could be stamped and/or written.
For the layering circles I used 2 3/8" Circle Punch to cut a piece of the Designer Series Paper for the middle one and Basic White ones for the circles on the left and right.
I cut the Wise Man from the Designer Series Paper using the Night Divine Dies to add to the Designer Series Paper layer on the front of the card. To the white circle, I added the sentiment from the Night Divine stamp set and Lost Lagoon ink.
The center panel's circle is where I showcased Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, cut from one of the Silver Foil papers found in our Online Exclusives (you can click the photo of the product at the bottom of this blog post to find it in my online store).
For the last panel, I cut & adhered the shepherd, cut from the Designer Series Paper. Simple, but gorgeous.
A couple of quick tips when assembling your card:
When adhering the first circle, lay the card on an envelope so that you know your boundaries for the circle so it fits inside.
Close the card each time you add a circle so they all line up when closed.
You can add a second Lost Lagoon circle onto the back sides of the circles to make it look more finished.
If you'd like to turn this card into a gift card holder, simply put adhesive on the two short sides and on the bottom of that small piece of Designer Series Paper in the center panel to create a pocket for your gift card.
You can decorate the backs of the panels, if you wish!
