Turtly Goodness

I can't tell you why (mostly because I really don't know), but I've been dragging my feet pulling out the adorable Turtle Friends bundle. I suppose it could be because I've had so many other amazing products with which I've been playing. This week I finally pulled it out, and I'm so glad I did! The tiny turtles are so stinkin' cute, so that's where I started. I decided to make a relatively quick and easy girlie baby card, using the new In Color, Polished Pink.

I love pink and gray together, so I added a little Basic Gray accent cardstock. I think the little flower in her "hair" is the sweetest! This comes from the Loose Flower Flourishes found in the Annual Catalog.

Polished Pink cardstock:

-5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

-Scalloped circle from Layering Circles Dies

Basic Gray cardstock:

-3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

-Circle from Layering Circles Dies

Basic White cardstock:

-3 3/4" x 5"

-Circle from Layering Circles Dies

Next I thought to pair up the larger turtle with the host Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. Rainbow hearts and birthdays are the perfect combination, right? A quick 2-4-6-8 box was just the ticket for a little shell-a-bration party favor. :) Notice the cute little heart behind the turtle. Ack! So sweet!

When making a 2-4-6-8 box, start with a piece of cardstock or Designer Series Paper 8 1/2" long. The height of the piece is up to you, depending on how short or tall you would like your box. I used a 6" height, and I think it was just perfect for this box. The 2" cut pieces at the bottom overlap each other after being cut to make the bottom of the box. Simply simple, and the Pattern Party DSP is the perfect combination with the adorable Shell-a-bration turtle. Party on, my turtle friends!

Happy stamping!

Amy
